Amazing Lunar eclipse

A very rare lunar eclipse occurred during the early hours of 21 December 2010.It is the first time a full lunar eclipse has occurred during winter solstice since 1638 and the next one will occur in 2094.

A lunar eclipse happens when the sun, Earth, and moon align--with the Earth in the middle. By virtue of that placement, there is always a full moon during a lunar eclipse. Unlike a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse is viewable for quite some time and is safe to view.

Despite being in shadow, the Moon did not become invisible, as there was still residual light deflected towards it by our atmosphere.

Creative Flamingos

Is it a coincidence or birds are really intelligent? the remarkable image shows the colony of Siberian Flamingos spontanously arranged in a pattern which made another giant Flamingo. Isn't it awesome?

Picture is taken by photographer Bobby Haas in Yucatan, Mexico , who was randomly capturing birds from helicopter. while he was leaving he looked from top at the last time and found flamingos arranged to create a big flamingo. he told the pilot to move slowly and captured it from the Bird Eye View. jus a remarkable piece.
